— The Boston Herald has posted information on Rashid “Smash” Evans, who will be Dave Bautista’s first MMA opponent in Rhode Island on October 6.

Evans has three professional fights on his resume and has a 1-2 record. He comes from New York.

The Herald noted that the CES MMA promotion is “currently working on a pay-per view deal to get the show televised, but nothing is finalized yet.”
