— The Canadian Ninjas (Portia Perez and Nicole Matthews) defeated Courtney Rush and Sara Del Rey in an spontaneous match at NCW Femmes Fatales IX in Montreal to win the SHIMMER Tag Team Championship. Del Ray turned on Rush, costing the team the belts.

This is the second reign for the Ninjas and the first time anyone has held a particular title in SHIMMER a second time. It is also the first time that a SHIMMER championship has changed hands outside of the promotion and the first time one of their titles has changed hands outside of the United States.
