Rey Mysterio Update, Austin Ticked Off At DirecTV, More

— Rey Mysterio is scheduled to embark on a media blitz of the Philippines on July 27 and 28.

— Steve Austin is not pleased with the Viacom-DirecTV dispute since his reality series, Redneck Island, airs on Viacom-owned station CMT. He tweeted, “Well I’ll be damned…I just figgered out the DIRECTV/VIACOM thing.”

— Dara Singh, who was a wrestling legend in India, passed away Thursday morning. Singh, who competed in international freestyle pro wrestling tournaments in the 1950s before going into a Bollywood movie career, died in his home in Mumbia, India. He ultimately retired from the ring in 1983 and wrestled in over 500 matches. He was eight-four years old. On behalf of all of us, our condolences to the family, friends and fans of Mr. Singh.
