Mick Foley Comments on His Praise of Megan Bayne’s Women’s Blood& Guts Performance As Being Career Defining

As noted before, Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite Blood & Guts 2026 show in Jacksonville featured The Brawling Birds (Alex Windsor & Jamie Hayter), Willow Nightingale, Wrathlander (Harley Cameron & Kris Statlander), & Queen Aminata defeating Triangle of Madness (Julia Hart, Skye Blue, & Thekla), Divine Dominion (Lena Kross & Megan Bayne), & Persephone in this year’s Women’s Blood & Guts match.

WWE Hall of Famer and AEW personality Mick Foley reflected on Instagram Stories about his praise of Bayne’s performance in the match and believed it was a career defining match for her.

“This match was pure insanity. Respect to everyone involved. These women are truly hardcore.

Years from now, when we look back at the career of Megan Bayne this will be one of the matches that defines it.”

In a follow-up post, Foley continued his praise posting a photo of him bowing in front of Bayne in a gesture of respect for her performance.

Kyle Fletcher Comments on Origin of His ‘Say My Full Name’ Catchphrase In AEW

A recent episode of the What Happened When with Tony Schiavone podcast featured Kyle Fletcher as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Fletcher’s thoughts about the origin of his “say my full name” catchphrase in AEW.

“‘Say my full name’ was something I said once in a promo and I can’t remember who, but somebody texted me and was like, ‘You should keep saying that.’ My idea behind it was when you address someone you respect, you would say their full name. ‘Hello Mr. Kyle Fletcher, how are you?’ That was the idea behind it. I wanted people to show their respect to me. The flipside, as a villain, I could refer to people by a shorthand or one name, and show disrespect in return.”

Maya World Reveals She Wasn’t Supposed To Be At AEW Collision Show Where Nixon Newell & Miranda Alize Walked Out

Agent 00 held a recent Twitch stream prior to the start of Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite Blood & Guts 2026 show featuring Hyan and Maya World among the guests. One of the topics discussed included Hyan and World giving their thoughts about Nixon Newell & Miranda Alize walking out of an AEW Collision show in November of 2025 and them being the replacement opponents for TayJay (Tay Melo & Anna Jay)’s tag team match.

Maya World – “It kind of just happened. If you know, you know. One day we were just working in Houston It was about a year ago. I might get in trouble for saying this, I don’t know, but two girls — we were not signed to the company yet — two women who were considered to be signed, they walked out and so we got an opportunity to step up. We were not tag partners. When they let us, we stepped up, and Tony [Khan] was like, ‘They’re good. Come back.’”

Hyan – “We weren’t even supposed to have a match. She wasn’t even supposed to be there that day.”
