WWE SD Rating Is In, Piper’s Podcast, Chris Jericho/Fozzy Update

— Friday’s episode of WWE SmackDown held well against the Olympics opening ceremony. The show drew 2,834,000 viewers compared to 2,960,000 viewers the week before. The show was the highest rated original series on cable for the night. We don’t have a final number just yet but it appears to be in the normal range.

— Roddy Piper’s “RodPod” weekly podcast is back this week. The show will air August 2nd and can be heard at this link.

— Chris Jericho’s band Fozzy is in a “Musical Cage Match” on Loudwire.com. Fozzy’s single “Sandpaper” has been through a few battles and has beaten Papa Roach, Motley Crue and other bands. The latest battle is against Linkin Park’s latest single “Lost in the Echo,” which it is beating by an 80/20 margin. You can vote at this link.
