WWE’s Major Summer Angle, Punk’s Heel Turn, New Talents

— Derek Foore has reported to FCW and is currently working under the ring name of “Chad Baxter”. Foore is a 2010 NAIA (National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics) wrestling champion. He attended Notre Dame and is being compared to a young Kurt Angle.

— Former OVW star Marcus Anthony is also working in FCW under the ring name of “Lincoln Broderick”.

— The CM Punk heel turn at the end of Monday’s 1,000th WWE RAW live event was the “big summer angle” that we’ve been reporting over the last several weeks. WWE had been planning the angle for awhile now. Several other “summer angles” from the past included the Nexus angle, CM Punk’s “pipe bob” worked-shoot promo and Vince McMahon’s limo blowing up.

— There are very few people within WWE who are excited about RAW going three-hours on a weekly basis.
