More On The SummerSlam Gate & Attendance + More

As previously reported, SummerSlam had an attendance of 14,205 and a live gate of $1,135,590. That number is comparable to UFC on FOX 4 a couple weeks earlier, which had an attendance of over 16,000 and a live gate of $1,044,453.

The recent live gates for their shows in Illinois and Minnesota have averaged 3,000-3,600 in attendance, which is the normal range for house shows in smaller cities.

Here are some recent WWE attendance figures:

* WWE RAW on August 24th in Cape Girardeau, MO – 3,600 fans for $115,000
* WWE RAW on August 25th in Peoria, IL – 3,500 fans for $110,000
* WWE SmackDown on August 25th in Sioux Falls, SD – 3,500 fans for $110,000
* WWE RAW on August 26th in Rockford, IL – 3,500 fans for $92,000
* WWE SmackDown on August 26th in Rochester, MN – 3,000 fans for $95,000
