— Former TNA talent Okada won NJPW’s G1 Climax tournament on Sunday, beating Karl Anderson in the finals. Okada is best known in TNA for being Samoa Joe’s assistant during his feud with D’Angelo Dinero and is now the youngest G1 Climax winner in history at 24. Anderson had tied IWGP Heavyweight Champion Tanahashi with ten points each in the A Block and Anderson won earlier in the day to make it to the finals. Also ranking high on the final standings were Shelton Benjamin (A Block, 8 points), MVP (B block, 8 points) and Lance “Lance Hoyt” Archer (B block, 8 points).
