Update On ‘HBK Appreciation Night’ On RAW Tonight

Tonight’s WWE RAW takes place from San Antonio, Texas and has been locally advertised as “Shawn Michaels Appreciation Night.” Michaels will be doing media appearances in San Antonio this morning and then be at the arena for tonight’s show, where it is expected that he will be involved in several off-camera segments. When asked on Twitter if he will appear on TV, Michaels tweeted the following…

“Don’t know, either way, I gotta be there”

For fans in attendance, you can get win autographed Deuce Brand Shawn Michaels watches by bringing “MacMillan River Adventures” signs to the show and tweeting a picture of themselves with the sign.

UPDATE: Shawn Michaels was interviewed by The Baltimore Sun about tonight’s Shawn Michaels Appreciation Night. Here is what he had to say…

“I honestly don’t know [what to expect]. I have probably less information than you guys do, which is [WWE’s] doing. I do my best to always take that as a compliment. I like to feel that they basically know that they sort of let me know what’s going on that day, then we can go ahead and get it done.

If this turns into a one-time roast for me, I enjoy that as much as everybody else does. That’s the reason I’ve hung around [Triple H] for all these years — it’s because he’s always made me laugh. So if that’s what it entails, then that works for me.”
