The article notes that after being attacked by both Alberto Del Rio and Dolph Ziggler on SmackDown this week, his status for the event in unclear. “What is Jericho’s physical status after sustaining such extensive damage? How will it come into play at SummerSlam? If Jericho is at less than 100 percent, which is likely, he might not be able to overcome one of WWE’s most talented and most merciless rising stars. Can Jericho dig deep and win a “big one” despite Ziggler’s claims that he cannot do so anymore? Sunday at SummerSlam, Y2J’s celebrated resilience will surely be put to the test.” Also, when a fan asked Jericho why he had a welt on his neck on SmackDown, he said it was from The Miz throwing him under the bottom rope on RAW.

— WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross has confirmed that he will be attending the WWE SummerSlam pay-per-view with his wife. Ross noted that they will be sitting inside the THQ/WWEGames luxury suite.

— Speaking of Jim Ross, he noted that WWE will be returning to Oklahoma City on October 1st. No word on if he will appear on the show at this time but he’ll likely be in attendance as he attends all shows from his hometown.
