ESPN Talent Compares NFL Debacle To WWE, Ryback/RAW

— On Tuesday’s edition of ESPN’s morning sports talk program First Take, Skip Bayless mentioned WWE while discussing the controversial conclusion of the Green Bay Packers vs. Seattle Seahawks game on Monday Night Football.

“I never thought I would see the day when the NFL would turn into the WWE,” Bayless said over the work of the replacement officials, who awarded a disputed touchdown to the Seahawks on the final play of the game.

The matter also drew comparisons to Vince McMahon and the XFL, with both terms trending worldwide on Twitter Monday night.

The individuals were immediately tackled by WWE security personnel and referee Scott Armstrong and pulled away from the ring.
