As previously reported, Linda McMahon announced last night that she and Vince will repay the debts (with interest) on the twenty-six creditors they owe from their 1976 bankruptcy filing. The names were made public by The Day this week. It was revealed today that the total will amount to approximately $1 million.
A spokesperson for Linda’s opponent Chris Murphy said in a statement, “Even after this stunning and desperate late-night reversal by Linda McMahon, questions still remain. Voters deserve to know who she still owes, how she plans to pay them back, how much, and why she only now decided to make right on her debts.”
