According to sources, Vince McMahon was not with Jerry Lawler the entire time as previously reported. McMahon was handling things from the Gorilla position until the commercial break. He then came out to check what was happening and then went back to the Gorilla position. While this was happening, Triple H ran the backstage area.
The verbiage used by Michael Cole on the air was word-for-word what Vince was telling him to say.
