As previously reported, WWE tried to distance itself from Trump yesterday after Trump offered Barack Obama $5 million to the charity of his choice if he released his college and passport application records. WWE said that the $5 million donated to Trump did not come from the company, but rather from the Vince & Linda Family Foundation.
Linda’s Senate campaign then said that she didn’t donate anything. Finally, WWE spokesman Brian Flinn cleared it up and said that the donation came directly from Vince McMahon.
