Why Rey Mysterio Is Not Working WWE Weekend Events

WWE superstar Rey Mysterio was scheduled to work the WWE Supershow last night in Jonesboro, Arkansas. However, he had to be sent home as he was suffering from stomach flu. Mysterio was booked to tag with Sin Cara. He was replaced at the last minute by Brodus Clay. Brodus and Sin Cara went on to defeat Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow during the show.

Mysterio should be back and healthy in time for Monday Night RAW. This week’s WWE RAW will feature the finals of the WWE Tag Team Championship Tournament. Mysterio will be taking the weekend off to return with the crew on Monday.
