The official WWE website posted a storyline article Thursday evening that suspended official Brad Maddox will have to answer to a Board of Inquiry at WWE Headquarters Thursday morning in response to his actions at Sunday’s Hell in a Cell pay-per-view event.
As the storyline goes, Maddox assisted CM Punk in retaining the WWE Championship by delivering a low blow to Ryback, allowing Punk to pin him. Maddox’s actions prompted Ryback to assault him. The following night on RAW, Punk denied any affiliation with Maddox.
