UPDATE: According to a source, WWE has sold close to 50,000 tickets for the WrestleMania 29 event.
At this time, the gate is said to be over $10 million dollars.
That is VERY good news for WWE.
ORIGINAL: Tickets for WrestleMania 29 went on sale to the general public on Saturday and they are already sold out of the $2000, $800 and $600 tickets. The best available pair of seats are being sold for $400. There still may be scattered single seats. Additional seats will be released when production sets are finalized.
WWE has added several sections of “limited view” seats that will not be able to see the stage or Titantron because of where they are. They also added “Platinum” seats through Ticketmaster with prices in the thousands for first row and first concourse center seats as well.
This is easily the highest-priced WrestleMania in the history of the company. Some seats in the second level of the stadium were selling for as much as $200 plus after charges.
