THQ, who has the rights to the WWE gaming license and just released WWE ’13, cast some worrying signs during their quarterly conference call today. The company abruptly ended the call without a Q&A session and pushed back several games including South Park: The Stick Of Truth which was supposed to be released next March, Company Of Heroes 2 and Metro: Last Light.
The company’s management said that the game delays “will likely create a need for additional capital” which may indicate the company is up for sale. Obviously with the game delays, the company will be more reliant on WWE ’13 sales than it was previously.
