Dave Meltzer reported in this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter that WWE’s recent 25% off on ticket sales for their WrestleMania 42 week shows in Las Vegas was just another attempt by WWE to boost ticket sales for WrestleMania 42 and make sure the Allegiant Stadium is fill for the event.
In regards to the April 17th WWE SmackDown show at the T-Mobile Arena, Meltzer reported that WWE has sold and distributed around 5,810 tickets which has to be considered as a major disappointment and 7,305 tickets for their April 20th WWE RAW show at the same venue as of Friday. WWE reportedly has sold and distributed around 2,183 tickets for their 2026 Hall of Fame ceremony event on April 17th at the T-Mobile Arena.
In regards to WrestleMania 42, Meltzer reported that WWE’s current tickets sales are down by 13.3% compared to WrestleMania 41 at this same time last year.
Night 1 on April 18th reportedly currently has around 39,800 tickets sold and distributed and Night 2 on April 19th has around 41,300 tickets sold and distributed at the time of his report.
Meltzer estimated that WWE will likely end up with 50,000 or more for ticket sales for both nights despite the lower ticket sales compared to last year’s event. Meltzer reported that WWE will likely just announce a number that is about the same if not slightly higher than last year’s event regardless of what the actual number is.
