A small piece in the Philadelphia City Paper has reported on a rumor that the former ECW Arena, which held its final live wrestling event last year, may be bringing wrestling and boxing back after little has been done to renovate it for non-wrestling shows. However, sources connected to the building say that there have been no shows booked into the venue and that construction and repairs, which stopped a while back, would need to be finished before anything could be held there.
The arena as it was during its wrestling days doesn’t exist anymore, as everything from the stages and balconies to the bathrooms have been ripped out.
