— Additional details have been reported on Bruno Sammartino’s contract with the WWE. The contract is said to be in the high six figure range and will include multiple projects and appearances with the two parties. The exact amount Sammartino is receiving is unknown. It is said he is being paid specifically for his Hall of Fame induction/appearance; much higher than the $5,000 he cited in a recent interview.
The six figure amount comes from the collective projects Sammartino and WWE agreed to work on together in the future. This includes DVD’s, live appearances and the Hall of Fame.
The deal WWE offered Sammartino also required him to be inducted into the Hall of Fame. Reportedly, none of the other projects would have happened if Sammartino didn’t agree to do the Hall of Fame first.
