— German television’s ProSieben Fun, a young television channel on the Pay TV platforms Entertain (Telekom) and Unity Media, will now feature the weekly WWE Superstars program. The show is scheduled to debut on 4/5 at 9:45 p.m. local time.
— As noted yesterday here on the website, it was reported on some websites (not this one) that Maria Kanellis, who appeared for WWE from 2004 to 2010, was among the former Divas contacted by organization officials to return. The possibility of a comeback, however, fell through when some unspecified female talent learned of WWE’s interest in Kanellis, causing management to shelf the idea.
In 2011 and 2012, Kanellis hosted an online show for AfterBuzzTV.com discussing RAW events, which was most notable for her cryptic remarks regarding the personal lives of Kelly Kelly and The Bella Twins. Regarding the report and past remarks, she tweeted Thursday, “As for the other rumors: I have respect for all Divas including the Bellas and Barbie now. What’s past is past. #oneloveonelifeladyfirst.”
— After Stephanie McMahon posted a video of herself boxing with her training, directed at Paul Heyman, Heyman himself has responded.
He wrote: “The passion @WWE’s @StephMcMahon exudes while tweeting to me is demonstrative of a very frustrated woman. Hmmmmm ….”
