The Philadelphia Sheriff’s office issued a final order of eviction against “Arena Operating, LLC” yesterday. Arena Operating is the company headed by Joanna Pang that took over the operations and management of the former ECW Arena last year.
Pang had intended to turn the historic wrestling venue into a concert venue, a move that was not popular in the community. Stein & Silverman Family Partners, the owners of the Arena have been in court to force Pang out as she basically ripped the venue apart to the bare bones and then failed to make lease payments. Rather than let the building sit there empty and non-profitable, they made the decision to force Pang out.
