UPDATE: WWE has announced that highlights of all Hall of Fame inductee speeches will air during the USA special. The post on WWE.com says “…you can tune in to USA Network two nights after WrestleMania and take part in the celebration of each individual.”
The post also notes that exclusive content will be available on the WWE app during the special including backstage interviews, photos and facts. This likely means that the speeches will be given time limits and the show will also be edited down big time and won’t feature their full speeches. Nonetheless, you’ll be able to hear a little bit from each inductee on the USA Network and will then have to get the WrestleMania DVD to hear their full acceptance speeches.
ORIGINAL: Mick Foley has announced via Twitter that his WWE Hall of Fame speech will be broadcast on the USA Network special after all. The special was set to only air Donald Trump, Bruno Sammartino and Trish Stratus’ speeches, but it appears that the influx of complaints to WWE have changed their minds on it.
The Hall of Fame special will air on April 9th on the USA Network.
