Last week’s Antonio Cesaro vs. Kofi Kingston match on WWE Main Event got a lot of praise from WWE officials. The credit is mostly going to Cesaro for making the match the quality it was, and he was booked for this week’s main event against Randy Orton as a “reward” for the work he did last week.
While more people are becoming fans of Cesaro backstage, there is still a lack of direction and how to use him going forward. The recent promos where he asks for more competition looks to be something to buy some time as WWE looks for a new feud for him.
It also appears that they have dropped the yodeling gimmick.
