— Last Friday’s episode of WWE SmackDown scored a 1.86 (1.9) cable rating, with 2.53 million viewers. Those numbers are up 2% and 3% respectively from the week before, which registered near-year-lows with 1.82 and 2.47.
The show ranked #5 among cable shows for the night in overall viewers and #2 among males 18 – 34 and males 18 – 47 behind the NBA Playoffs on ESPN.
— The Mid-Atlantic Legends Fanfest has announced new details for their event, which was previously the NWA Legends Fanfest. The event will take place in the first week of August and will include a training seminar led by Tom Prichard with Les Thatcher and Tully Blanchard assisting. The participant who wins gets a $2,500 scholarship to continue their training.
Already announced for the event are Mr. Wrestling II, Ivan Koloff, Les Thatcher, JJ Dillon, Tully Blanchard, Jerry Brisco, Tiger Conway Jr., Lars Anderson, Bob Caudle, The Midnight Express, Jim Cornette, The Rock N’ Roll Express, Magnum TA and Johnny Powers.
The weekend will include the 2013 Hall of Heroes banquet, matches, autograph sessions, photos, a reunion Q&A with Blanchard & Magnum TA, a Jim Cornette Q&A and much more. For more info, go here.
