— Up until now, there has been scattered talks about finding a storyline for Christian to return with as we reported earlier. The latest word going around WWE inner-circles is that finding a storyline so Christian can return has become somewhat of a priority amongst those in control. Due to that fact, Christian is expected back on WWE television in the near future.
— WWE Hall of Famer Antonio Inoki is running for political office in Japan. Inoki is entering the race for a seat in the Upper House as a candidate of the Nippon Ishin no Kai party. He is being backed by former Tokyo Governor Shintaro Ishihara, a prominent politician. [Credit: Rafu.com]
— WWE is set to release its first DVD featuring material from the Watts family library, titled Legends of Mid-South Wrestling, on September 10th. It will be a three-disc DVD or two-disc Blu-Ray. [Credit: Amazon]
— Chris Jericho’s band Fozzy is set for a European tour which is scheduled from August 7-18. This makes Jericho unavailable for SummerSlam as we noted earlier here on the website. His last advertised appearance is the July 9 SmackDown TV taping. Fozzy is also set to open for Saxon on 9/13 at BB Kings in New York City.
