Ex-Gut Check Contestant Behind ‘#August1Warning’?

The official YouTube account of TNA Wrestling posted a video on Friday featuring a mysterious individual delivering a warning (officially titled “#August1Warning”) for next Thursday’s iMPACT! Wrestling in Wichita Falls, Texas, where he cryptically revealed that he has a problem which needs to be solved. The individual in question could be “Scrap Iron” Adam Pearce, who competed in a “Gut Check” match in April—he won the bout but was not signed to a contract. A few hours after the video was posted, the acclaimed independent wrestler hinted through Twitter at something occurring on August 1.

“By the way, how many days til #August1?” he wrote. It’s possible he’s just working the ‘net and has something else planned for August 1st. We shall see.
