WWE Tapes SmackDown Tonight + Rhett Titus/WWE Update

— As noted earlier here on the website, Ring of Honor star Rhett Titus was backstage at Monday night’s WWE RAW in Baltimore, Maryland. Titus made a cameo on the live broadcast in a segment featuring Vince McMahon. It is said that Titus has not signed a WWE deal, but was booked last week to work this week’s TV tapings in a tryout of sorts and to be used as an extra.

One thing of note is that Titus does not currently have a contract with Ring of Honor and hasn’t for the past couple of months. Once the storyline with the S.C.U.M. faction that Titus was a part of concluded at the most recent ROH TV Tapings, Titus no longer had any commitment with Ring of Honor.
