— WWE Hall Of Famer Mick Foley performed another stand-up comedy show at Zaine’s Comedy Club in Rosemont, Illinois on Thursday, August 8th. Foley performed the same routine he has been traveling across the country with, however, at this show, Foley brought Lisa Marie Varon on-stage and interacted with her a bit during his set. Varon, who worked with Foley in WWE as “Victoria,” most recently worked as a TNA Knockout under the ring name “Tara.”
— Former TNA iMPACT! Wrestling executive Bruce Prichard is now accepting independent booking dates at Showbis@AOL.com. Prichard, who is based out of the Houston, Texas area, can not appear as his former WWE character “Brother Love.”
— Thursday night’s episode of iMPACT! Wrestling drew 1.18 million viewers, down 6% from last week’s 1.25 million. The show did a 0.4 rating in the 18-49 demographic, which was even with last week. The show was up against Shark Week on Discovery, where Alien Sharks drew 3.15 million viewers to win the night, and 3.12 million for the first NFL preseason game for ESPN to go up against it.
