As reported during the weekend here on the site, TNA iMPACT! Wrestling star and Main Event Mafia member Kurt Angle was arrested for DWI. This marked the fourth alcohol-related arrest for Angle in the past six years.
Following the arrest, Angle wrote on Twitter that he was going to check himself into the appropriate rehabilitation facility. After he made the rehab announcement, TNA President Dixie Carter followed up by claiming Angle had the support of both herself and TNA.
TNA President Dixie Carter posted a new tweet on Monday that noted Angle has officially entered a rehab facility.
Dixie wrote the following:
“Today, Kurt Angle entered a rehab facility. As a cherished member of the TNA family, we support his decision and wish him strength through this difficult, important recovery process.”
