— ORIGINAL: The official WWE website was taken offline for approximately an hour today, at approximately 1:00 p.m. A user behind a Twitter account that promotes hacking (named Anonymous Indonesia, located at AnonNewsIndo) is claiming to have gotten the website taken offline.
This individual wrote, “World Wrestling Entertainment Down http://www.wwe.com/ Time To HELP SYRIA By #Fr0styFr0ze #OpSyria #Anonymous.”

UPDATE: WWE issued a statement about their website going down, noting:
“I can confirm that the site was down and the issue was resolved in less than 45 minutes.”
— Sami Callihan is no more. The independent wrestling standout will be known as Solomon Crowe for WWE’s NXT division. The 25-year-old issued the following message on Twitter announcing the name:
