SummerSlam News – Multiple Script Changes + Attendance

— As noted earlier, WWE Hall of Famer “Stone Cold” Steve Austin will host Ric Flair on his Steve Austin Show podcast this week. Austin tweeted on Sunday night that he just finished recording a 3 hour conversation with the Nature Boy.

— According to sources backstage in WWE, there were many changes to the SummerSlam script in the hours leading up to the show. In an effort to prevent leaks on Reddit.com and wrestling news sites, only a select few WWE staffers knew about the main event finish before it happened.

— There were 17,739 fans in attendance at the STAPLES Center for WWE’s SummerSlam pay-per-view.
