UPDATE: Maria Menounos has in fact been doing in ring training for a WWE match; adding more fuel to the rumors of a match at SummerSlam.
ORIGINAL: WWE is teasing a potential celebrity match for this year’s SummerSlam pay-per-view. WWE is hinting at a tag-match involving Maria Menounos for their annual summer spectacular.
As of right now, the proposed match would feature Maria Menounos and Natalya teaming up to take on The Bella Twins. Of course, with Nikki Bella recovering from injury, the match could feature Menounos and Natalya against Brie Bella and a different partner. There was also talk over the weekend of doing something with Natalya and Brie Bella on RAW tonight. It all depends on if the celebrities have agreed to work the match. We shall see.
The celebrity tag-match at SummerSlam hype originated on several official Twitter pages during the airing of episode three of WWE Total Divas this past Sunday night on the E! cable channel.
