— A Memphis Wrestling reunion show will take place at the Resorts Casino in Tunica, Mississippi, the same venue that holds the Jerry Lawler Museum. The show was originally set to have a main event of Lawler vs. Austin Idol, which would be Idol’s first match in many years. He is no longer participating for reasons unknown. Now the main event will be Lawler vs. Jeff Jarrett, managed by Karen Jarrett. The two have not had a singles match for at least over a decade. Brian Christopher has put together the event, which also features Jimmy Valiant, Rikishi, Doug Gilbert, Koko B. Ware, The Spellbinder, Bill Dundee, The Rock N’ Roll Express, Reggie B. Fine and more.
— Kayfabe Commentaries has put together a new Timeline WWWF: 1960s DVD with Bruno Sammartino. It will be released in November.
— CW Anderson vs. Tommy Dreamer, a rematch of their ECW Guilty as Charged 2001 I Quit match, has been added to the Wrestlecade convention and live event in November in North Carolina. Anderson will have JJ Dillon and Steve Corino in his corner. The two have wrestled since that 2001 match, but not with I Quit rules. you can find more details here.
