— The TNA live event on 9/13 in Kansas City, Missouri at the Kemper Arena has been canceled. No other details are known at this time. The venue was an 18,000 seat arena.
— Thursday night’s episode of iMPACT! Wrestling drew 1.31 million viewers, up 5% from last week’s 1.24 million. The show had a 0.4 rating in the 18 – 49 demographic, which was a slight dip from an 0.5 last week and suggests that the show attracted attention outside of its core audience.
The number is a great rating considering that it was up against the first NFL game of the season, which drew 25.85 million viewers.
UPDATE: The 9/5 TNA iMPACT! Wrestling on Spike TV did a final 0.98 (1.0) cable rating with 1.31 million viewers. This number is down from last week’s show that did a 0.99 (1.0) cable rating with 1.24 million viewers. SpikeTV and TNA are happy with those numbers considering the insane number (25+ million) for the NFL.
