As many are aware, WWE is set to face their toughest annual competition starting this coming Monday night with WWE RAW, now that the NFL’s Monday Night Football will be returning.
WWE will face not only one, but two Monday night games this coming Monday night, which led to many in the company questioning why they didn’t set up a major match or angle this past Monday night, so that there would be a strong selling point for next week’s RAW to compete with the return of NFL on Monday night’s.
According to reports, the subject was brought up backstage at the show this past Monday night, yet no one seemed to have an answer as to why the company chose not to book a special match or angle for next week.
