Darren Young Announced As Celebrity Ambassador

Darren Young is joining Kye Allums, Jason Collins, and Brittney Griner as celebrity ambassadors for Spirit Day 2013 in New York tomorrow. The celebration encourages people to wear purple in support of LGBT youth.

GLAAD announced the news in a press release touting the backing of sports organizations such as Major League Baseball, Major League Soccer, the NBA, WNBA, NFL, NHL, UFC and WWE. Among the other celebrities joining the cause are Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Ke$ha, Maria Menounos; and more.
