— As previously reported, Curtis Axel was kept off the Hell in a Cell PPV kickoff show due to an injury. Axel reportedly suffered a hip flexor injury on RAW and the company didn’t know whether he would be able to work until Friday, which is why nothing was announced until today.
Several people are said to be “down” about the injury, as Axel is popular and seen as someone who works hard and does whatever is asked of him. There’s no word on how long he’ll be out.
