While there were several reports that WWE was not happy with Kassius Ohno’s physique, there looks to be another reason which may have played a part in his release.
According to reports, Ohno was not happy with his position in NXT and reportedly told co-workers that he didn’t understand why he was not being elevated higher than those he thought he was better than. The remarks made their way back to management, and combined with the issues with his physique and the fact that he is already 33 years old, the decision was made to release him.
