Ex-NFL Talent To WWE Update, Ortiz/Cena/Red Sox, More

— Former NFL prospect Morkeith Brown appeared on the Totally Driven Radio podcast this past weekend. He turned down an invitation to work out for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to go to WWE developmental. He said the tryout was over five days from 8 AM to 5 PM. He said there were several guys who were out of shape and dropped out before the tryout was over. Brown had a short stay in the Arena Football League with the Philadelphia Soul.

— The WWE stock closed yesterday at $13.26, which is up 31 cents. The stock is at a 52-week high.

— David Ortiz was spotted wearing a WWE championship belt that John Cena sent him at today’s parade for the Boston Red Sox’s third World Series win in ten years. Cena said on Twitter he would send the belt to him.
