Video: Kevin Owens, CM Punk

We open with a video package highlighting the feud between Kevin Owens and CM Punk, leading to their No Holds Barred Match tonight on SmackDown.

Pre-Show Arrivals

From there, we get a look at Owens looking on from somewhere up high as part of our Superstar Arrivals.

Video: Roman Reigns, Sami Zayn, The Bloodline, 946

A look back at Raw on Monday, which saw some verbal barbs between Roman Reigns and Sami Zayn ahead of their match at Crown Jewel.

In-Ring: Sami Zayn, Jimmy Uso

From there, we head to ringside as the Undisputed WWE Champion makes his way to the ring. He has a mic as he asks who’s here to ride or die with the last real good guy? He addresses Roman’s words from recent weeks, especially the claim that Zayn wouldn’t be champion by the time Crown Jewel came around. He went over to Roman’s show and survived, and came back to Sami’s show and survived.

There was a time that he would’ve taken these words to heart, but as long as he’s Undisputed WWE Champion no one will overlook him. Not the fans, not the guys in the back, and not even Roman Reigns. He says when Raw came to an end, Roman wasn’t looking over him…he was looking UP at him.

This brings out Jimmy Uso, who makes a beeline for the ring. He has a mic of his own as he says Sami was his family, but look at what’s happened with the 946 and how he went after the OTC at Raw. Sami says family doesn’t change, and that in another world he would be standing shoulder to shoulder with the Bloodline…but in this world, he is the Undisputed WWE Champion. He says Jimmy should understand that, as he made Sami the honorary Uce before Roman did…and when push came to shove, he always pulled the trigger first, even when that mean Zayn’s time in the Bloodline was done.

Jimmy can’t believe what he’s hearing, asking what happened to Sami and saying he made this personal. You wanted Roman’s attention? Well, you got it. When Raw went off the air, Roman wasn’t worried about the 946…he was worried about you, Sami. He told Jimmy that Sami was gonna “catch this beating” at Crown Jewel. Sami asks if he really said that, and is happy as he says that’s all he wanted, to make sure Roman takes this as seriously as he needs to. He doesn’t want half of the OTC, he wants the whole thing.

Roman says he’ll beat Sami’s a– at Crown Jewel? Good! The Undisputed WWE Champion will see him then. He starts to leave as the 946 come through the crowd to blindside Jimmy. Sami watches on as the 946 turn their attention to the champ…who steps off the apron. Jimmy tries to fight back but the numbers are too much for Big Jim, with Keys planting him with a spinebuster.

Sami has his back turned to the ring, debating whether to do anything…and decides not to, walking up the ramp as the 946 stand over Jimmy before we go to commercial break.

Backstage: Sami Zayn, Rey Fenix, Johnny Gargano, Candice LeRae

Sami gets into it with someone backstage before Gargano speaks to him, saying guys like them need to look out for themselves. Candice LeRae addresses Sami giving Johnny his title shot soon, but Zayn says he needs to deal with all these targets coming after him. He says he’ll talk to Aldis, and Johnny promises to take care of something too as SmackDown rolls on.

Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Tama Tonga

We head to ringside for our opening match, with Tama Tonga already in the ring as Shinsuke Nakamura makes his entrance. We take a look at the issues from two weeks ago before this match gets underway!

A back and forth quickly devolves into Tama taking control with some hard strikes. Nakamura starts fighting back, sending the Tonga to the corner…but Tama turns it around with a flurry of offense, charging at Shinsuke in the adjacent corner. He ends up taking Nakamura to the mat for more damage, before returning him to the corner for some stomps until the ref calls for a break.

Nakamura fights out of the corner with some knee strikes before stomping away at Tama, who tries to stop a running corner attack…but gets dropped to the mat instead! Shinsuke brings him out of the ring, sending Tama into the barricade. He stares down Haku (the only man in the world that probably would!) as he brings Tama back into the ring…but as Haku distracts the ref, Nakamura gets leveled by Talla Tonga as we go to a picture-in-picture break!

Picture-in-Picture: Tama brings Shinsuke back into the ring to wear him down some more, sending him into the corner for a flying lariat-like splash that sends Nakamura to the canvas. Shinsuke fights back with some forearms but gets caught coming from the ropes with a shoulder tackle, allowing Tama to get a nearfall. He keeps Nakamura down with a chinlock, pulling him in for a bodyscissor to keep him in the middle of the ring. Nakamura fights to his feet as we come back from break…

…but the two men double down, leaving them both on the mat! Shinsuke is the first one one, laying into Tama with some kicks before countering a grab with an enziguri. He lands a hard roundhouse on Tama, but it’s only good for two. Tama back on his feet and takes Shinsuke down with a brainbuster twice over…but Shinsuke kicks out! They fight back to their feet with Shinsuke taking a headbutt only to lay out Tama with a knee strike, as we see Talla and Kiyoki getting at it on the outside. Kiyoki gets the drop on Talla as Nakamura takes out Tama with a Kinshasa for the win.

Winner: Shinsuke Nakamura via Pinfall.

The pair celebrates on the ramp.

Backstage: CM Punk

We head backstage, where we hear from CM Punk on his match against Kevin Owens tonight. He says he’s looking forward to beating Kevin Owens tonight, making fun of Sami as “mediocre midcard champ” before saying he should be getting ready for Crown Jewel and facing Roman Reigns. He’s happy to take care of this business tonight so he can focus on winning back his title. With that, we head to a commercial break.

In-Ring: Gunther, Finn Balor

Back at ringside, Gunther makes his entrance as it seems he has some things to say. We take a look at last week and the return of “The Demon” as Finn Balor went after the Ring General. Gunther with a mic as he claims he wasn’t scared last week, that he was focused on clearing out that “freakshow” Danhausen. He says that everything he said about Finn Balor is true, that his career his hanging by threads, and he should retire tonight. He says Finn could’ve gone to the lab to squeeze out the last bits of his career…but instead, he decided to dress up and play along with Danhausen’s bulls–t.

He will give Finn one last chance to redeem himself. Come out here with no smoke and mirrors, and face me like a man. Sure enough, out comes Balor sans Demon paint as he poses for the crowd with a mic in his hand as well. He says what Gunther saw last week, people have asked for years what that is. What he taps into. Finn isn’t quite sure, and admits that maybe it is just paint, just smoke and mirrors…before reminding Gunther that he came out here and sent him through a table last week.

Gunther wanted the real Finn Balor, and here he is…with a Demon waiting to get out, and he’s done waiting. He goes after Gunther, who drops Balor to the mat…but Finn is already back up, sending the Ring General out of the ring. He gets Gunther back in the ring before climbing the turnbuckle, only to be dropped down by Gunther. Finn breaks free of a powerbomb attempt and takes Gunther down, only for the Ring General to make a hasty escape up the ramp.

Backstage: Fatal Influence

We head backstage to hear from Fatal Influence, who claim they only speak facts. They run down Alexa Bliss and Tatum Paxley’s failure to hold the tag titles before saying they’re ready to take the titles from B-Fab and Michin tonight. As a matter of fact, that match is up next!

Video: Rey Mysterio

We get a clip from What’s Your Story? in which Rey Mysterio reveals the traditional Survivor Series 5-on-5 tag match as Team USA faces Team Mexico.

WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship
Fatal Influence (Lainey Reid & Fallon Henley) vs. B-Fab and Michin (c)

We go to ringside as…oh, no entrances for this Women’s Tag Team Championship match? I guess we got places to be as this match gets underway!

Michin and Reid start things off with Michin mostly taking control before tagging in B-Fab, but Lainey manages to fight back enough for a tag to Henley! They knock each other’s partners off the apron before taking each other to the mat. Alexa Bliss and Tatum Paxley appear from the crowd, getting the drop on Jacy Jayne and Jade Cargill…before coming into the ring to go after Fab and Henley!

The ref calls for the bell as this goes to a No Contest!

Winner: None. B-Fab & Michin retains the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship.

Chaos ensues as all six women go at it in the ring until Bayley comes in for some revenge…and so does Charlotte Flair! Fatal Influence, Jade Cargill, and her baddies escape and regroup on the outside as we go backstage.

Backstage: Kevin Owens

Kevin Owens addresses his match against CM Punk, talking about how HBK had to tell him to leave the Performance Center (while he was getting treated!) because Punk was about to arrive for his NXT Championship match that night. NXT, where the future is being built. CM Punk is not the future, and in fact guys like Punk and Kevin are almost the past.

Owens looks forward to beating Punk once and for all tonight. See you out there, Phil.

Backstage: Bayley, Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss, Tatum Paxley

Backstage, we hear from Bayley and Charlotte addressing their return, and how if Fatal Influence and Jade want a war…so be it.

In-Ring: Nick Aldis, Chelsea Green, Liv Morgan

Back at ringside, Nick Aldis is out here for some comments heading into Crown Jewel. Introducing first, the WWE Women’s Champion…Chelsea Green. Green makes her way to the ring as Aldis gives her respect for what she’s done to win and defend the title. Liv Morgan doesn’t feel the same way, and Nick invited Chelsea here to address those remarks. Chelsea says that she’s taken what Liv is saying to heart.

Liv calling her a placeholder champion is something Chelsea has seen and heard elsewhere, something she’s even told herself sometimes. She shows up for work and fights the urge to doubt herself every time she’s here. She knows a WWE champion shouldn’t admit that, but it’s true. She wakes up every morning, looks at the title, and asks if she’s championship material. The fans are letting her know she does deserve it, something Nick affirms, but Chelsea says it’s not enough.

Can her name be put up against some of the greatest in this business? She wants to belong, to leave a real legacy. She needs to beat Liv tomorrow to do that. If Liv wins, everything she said about Chelsea is true…but if she beats Morgan, it wasn’t a fluke. Despite what everyone says, she belongs here. She cements her place in WWE history, as a true champion.

Out comes Liv Morgan, mic in hand as she starts to run Green down. She asks if Chelsea needs a tissue before saying we don’t give out participation awards to those who are champ when they shouldn’t be. She asks who Chelsea beat to win the title…claiming that she beat no one for it, because Rhea got injured and Chelsea got lucky. She once again calls Green talentless before saying she will become not only a two-time women’s Crown Jewel Champion but the greatest women’s champion of alllllllllll time.

Backstage: Trick Williams, Lil Yachty

With that, we go backstage to hear from Trick Williams. He addresses failing to win the Undisputed WWE Championship, saying it’s not the end of his story. It’s not a topic of IF he becomes world champion, but WHEN. Trick also addresses Damian Priest’s issues with him offering a fight if Priest wants one.

Damian Priest vs. Nathan Frazer

We get some hype for the Royal Rumble next February, before heading to ringside for our next match. Damian Priest makes his entrance with Nathan Frazer already in the ring to get things underway!

Frazer gets the drop on Priest, egging him on to get in as the bell rings. It doesn’t take long for Priest to start fighting back, though Nathan gets a few shots in on him in the corner. He hits the ropes, only to be leveled with a right hand by Priest. He sends Nathan to the ropes for a flapjack to the mat, and is ready to take Frazer on a ride South of Heaven…but Nathan flips out of it, sending Damian out of the ring instead!

He hits the ropes for a dive, only to be slammed against the barricade by Priest. Razor’s Edge sends Frazer crashing onto (but not through) the announce table. Ref makes a call to end this match, seemingly another No Contest(?) as Axiom tries to defend his friend…only to be slammed against the ring post!

Winner: Damian Priest via Referee Stoppage.

Priest walks off as his music plays, and we get a graphic for our main event No Holds Barred Match between CM Punk and Kevin Owens coming up next.

Video: John Cena

We take a look back at John Cena’s announcements on Raw about the John Cena Classic, from the show being a special episode of Raw from Disney World to the winner receiving a new title belt, and the entrants starting off with Cody Rhodes.

Video: Randy Orton, Cody Rhodes

Speaking of, we take a look back at the issues between Cody and Randy Orton leading to their Last Man Standing match at Crown Jewel.

WWE Crown Jewel 2026 Card Rundown

From there we get a rundown for the matches happening tomorrow:

  • Last Man Standing Match: Cody Rhodes vs. Randy Orton
  • World Tag Team Championship: The Vision defend against Penta and Je’Von Evans
  • Women’s Crown Jewel Championship: WWE Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan vs. WWE Women’s Champion Chelsea Green
  • Men’s Crown Jewel Championship: WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns vs. Undisputed WWE Champion Sami Zayn

No Holds Barred Match
CM Punk vs. Kevin Owens

The two trade offense until Punk looks for an early GTS, only for Owens to break free and send him to the outside. He slams Punk against the announce table before Punk fights back, going under the ring to grab at able. Owens stops him with a chair, slamming it against Punk’s back before propping him on the barricade for some right hands. Punk falls over before being brought over to the timekeeper area…where he catches Kevin by surprise with a right hand!

The two fight it out through the crowd, where Owens sends Punk into the railing and then a nearby camera. Punk turns it around by sending Kevin into a guard rail, laying in some more shots for good measure. They reach the lower bowl seats, where drives Punk’s head against a plexiglass barrier before sending him to the steps to attack his arm. Owens brings Punk back toward ringside, only to be sent over the barricade by Punk.

Punk hops onto the barricade for a flying forearm, sending Owens to the floor before pulling part the ring steps. He takes the top half and slams it against Kevin’s head. Punk poses for the crowd before bringing Owens over for a piledriver on the lower steps…only for Kevin to pull Punk’s leg out of his leg, sending him back first onto the steps instead!

Owens walks around the ring to set up a table before grabbing a chair, slamming it against Punk’s back. He brings out another table, setting it up next to the other table before returning to Punk…who takes out Kevin with the chair! He brings Kevin back into the ring before hobbling around the ring to grab a trashcan from under the ring apron.

He tosses the bin into the ring…where Kevin grabs it to slam against CM’s head when he gets back in! He props the can over CM Punk’s head before slamming a chair against it, setting Punk up in the corner for a cannonball senton. He pulls the can off Punk as the ref checks on him, with Kevin asking who the piece of garbage is now before Punk tries to fight back…only to be laid out with the can once again!

Owens looks for a powerbomb but gets sent onto the can by Punk instead. The fight spills back to the outside as they trade shots. Punk takes control as he brings Owens toward the graphic of himself on the LED screen saying “look how beautiful I am”…but Kevin turns it around, sending Punk against the picture of himself instead! He looks to do the same with the Owens graphic but Punk fights back, laying him out with a GTS. He grabs a flatbed handtruck (I forgot the technical term, cut me some slack lol) and gets Kevin onto it, rolling it down the ramp before sending it toward the LED screen outside the ring!

He brings Kevin into the ring before going up top for an elbow drop, but it’s only good for two as Owens manages to kick out. Punk has had enough of this as he locks in an Anaconda Vice on Kevin…who attacks Punk’s face to break free! Back on his feet, Owens sets up a chair in the corner before slamming another one on Punk…but Punk ends up sending Owens into the chair in the corner before dropping him with a DDT onto the one on the canvas! Punk leaves the ring to grab some more chairs, tossing them into the ring.

He sets a chair over Owens before climbing up top, but Kevin rolls out of the way…only for Punk to get him in the back with a chair instead. He props Owens up on the table before walking the barricade for a leaping elbow that drives him through the announce table! He brings Kevin back into the ring before looking for another weapon from underneath the ring…grabbing a steel chain! He brings it into the ring, wrapping it around his knee for extra damage on a GTS. He brings Kevin up, but Owens breaks free and hits a headbutt.

No luck on a stunner but yes on a superkick as Punk drops to the mat. Owens with a Swanton Bomb and the cover…but Punk kicks out at two! Owens sets up a few chairs before driving another one into the neck of Punk. He finishes the chair setup before bringing Punk onto the nearby turnbuckle. The two fight it out on the turnbuckle…until Punk manages to break free, dropping to the floor. Owens catches him to send Punk into the ring post, propping him on the tables before going up top.

Punk gets off the tables and back in the ring, fighting it out with Owens on the turnbuckle once more. It turns out Brian Zane was right, he who sets it up must go through it as Punk lifts Kevin off the turnbuckle into the steel chair setup for a cover. Owens kicks out once again, and the fight ends up on the apron…where Owens sends Punk (and himself) through the tables on the outside with a fisherman’s buster!

Both men eventually make it back in the ring, where Kevin sizes up Punk for a stunner…but it’s only good for a nearfall. He grabs a chair, driving a leg into the face of Punk before grabbing the chain in the corner. Owens wraps it around his hand before bringing Punk to his feet…only for Punk to hoist him up for a GTS! The impact sends Kevin against the ropes…but he manages to lay out Punk out with the chained-up right hand! He lays over the fallen Punk, and it’s enough to get the win.

Winner: Kevin Owens via Pinfall.

We take a look back at the highlights from this main event, all the way to the finish. We then get a look at the wreckage around the ring as Kevin gets to his feet, his hand raised in victory as SmackDown comes to a close.
