According to officials within WWE, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is the leading candidate as one of the “main event inductees” for the 2015 WWE Hall Of Fame ceremony in California.
Apparently it’s up to The Rock if he wants to accept the induction, as his decision would basically center around whether or not his Hollywood schedule allows him to be available to take part in the annual wrestling honor.
As we’ve reported several times here on the website, The Rock reportedly informed WWE in August that he would not working WrestleMania XXX this year, but has not yet ruled out the possibility of doing WrestleMania 31 in 2015. Additionally, WWE’s merchandise department were recently told not to produce any singular merchandise featuring The Rock. They noted that The Rock could be used in group shots, but nothing individual.
