On Saturday night, Luke Hawx defeated Stevie Richards to win the Extreme Rising title at the ECWA event in Newark, Delaware. The title match was added to the show after the cancellation of the Extreme Rising show at the ECW Arena. That show was cancelled due to the former ECW arena not being able to hold the event due to building issues.
In an update on this, the title change was not supposed to take place. When they reached out to Extreme Rising head Steve O’Neil today, he sighed and said a statement would be issued, “but right now, I am dealing with ticket refunds and exchanges.”
At this time, no one is exactly sure what happened that caused the title change.
This company seems doomed.
