Several New Champions Crowned at Pro Wrestling EVE Elite Encounters II

Sunday’s Elite Encounters II event for Pro Wrestling EVE in Wolverhampton, England featured four championships changing hands.

The first was Hai High Mate (HANAKO & Maika) defeating Hyperactive (Anita Vaughan & Safire Reed) to become the new EVE Tag Team Champions.

The second was Skye Blue defeating Lucy Deathmatch to become the new Spirit of EVE champion.

The third was Marina Shafir defeating Miyu Yamashita to become the new EVE International Champion.

The fourth was Kay Lee Ray defeating Kris Statlander to become the new EVE Champion.

Josh Bishop Wins MLW World Title at MLW Saturday Night SuperFight

Saturday’s Saturday Night SuperFight event for Major League Wrestling in Cicero, Illinois featured Josh Bishop defeating Killer Kross in a Last Man Standing match to become the new MLW World Heavyweight Champion.

This was Bishop’s first-ever MLW World Heavyweight Championship victory in his MLW career.

Atticus Cogar Defeats Joseph Sawyer for GCW World Title at GCW The Crossroads

Saturday’s The Crossroads event for Game Changer Wrestling in Indianapolis, Indiana featured Atticus Cogar defeating Joseph Sawyer to become the new GCW World Champion.

Following the match, Mance Warner and EFFY made a surprise return appearance and attacked Cogar. This was Warner and EFFY’s first appearance for GCW since this past April.

This match was notable for Sawyer being involved in a storyline angle that revolved around Sawyer suffering an apparent knee injury at GCW’s The Score event this past September and him walking out of his title defense match. During GCW’s Fight Club Night Two event this past October, GCW promoter Brett Lauderdale was prepared to strip Sawyer of his title before Sawyer appeared on the big screen and issued a challenge to Cogar saying that when he wins, he would be leaving GCW and taking the GCW World title with him.
