TNA is set to run three shows at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City this summer. A source says that the company is paying a total of $300,000 to the venue in rent and production cost for the shows, which will take place in June, July, and August.
The source noted that this is a possible move in order to impress Spike TV, which is headquartered in New York and has yet to come to a new agreement with the company. It isn’t known whether Spike is paying any of the bill, though it is believed that it was TNA management that negotiated the deal.
