— As noted earlier here on the website, WWE Superstar Damien Sandow recently spoke with The Columbia Daily Herald to promote next week’s WWE SmackDown tapings. Regarding his charity work, he said:
“Yes, my charity of choice is Kosair Charities. They are based out of Louisville, Ky., and they are a division of the Kosair Shriners, and they do so much just to help children. Not only do they fund hospitals, but they have a school for the blind and a school for children with autism. I have been to about five different locations that do something different, and just to see all these children getting help, if that does not put things in perspective for you, nothing will. I understand how fortunate I am to be able to wrestle in the WWE and do what I truly love and do what I am doing for a living. To help out in this way, it really puts life into perspective. It keeps me in check. It grounds me. It keeps me appreciative of what I have and grateful that I have the ability to help others.”
