Former TNA World Heavyweight and X-Division champion Chris Sabin has finished up with the company after this weekend’s One Night Only pay-per-view tapings.
TNA reportedly offered Sabin a new contract, but similar to what happened with AJ Styles, the offer was too low and Sabin turned it down.
ORIGINAL: As we reported yesterday here on the website, te contracts of Christopher Daniels and Kazarian will expire in the next few weeks. As of right now, neither have signed a new contract with TNA.
Many in the company are watching how the negotiations go with Daniels, as he is one of the few members of the roster with a better contract. Since TNA can’t re-sign Sting, Hulk Hogan or AJ Styles, talent is very interested to see what happens with Daniels. Many believe he’ll be asked to take a pay cut and are waiting and watching to see how that goes over with him.
One of the reasons Kazarian and Daniels haven’t been on television is because of the contract negotiations. They did not appear on any of this week’s TNA iMPACT! tapings or the one night only pay-per-view that was taped on Saturday. There are many who see it as a bad sign in regards to the two remaining with TNA.
We’ll keep you posted as we hear more.
