WWE Studios is planning to release around 8-10 more films for the rest of the year.
The latest WWE Studios movie, Oculus, opened last weekend with $12,005,402, good enough for third place. IT will need to hold up well in its second week as it will likely lose its audience next week. Another horror film, Hammer’s The Quiet Ones, will open next Friday and likely hurt the performance of Oculus. However, since the film only had a budget of around $5 million, it’s already considered a success.
