Okay, so before we get too far into this a quick caveat: this is coming out of the very kayfabe-oriented WWE Magazine and it often posts such things as misdirections or is sometimes simply wrong due to the amount of time it takes to get magazines published. But legit news has also broken through details revealed in the magazine as well, so this could be the case here. Either way, the June issue of WWE Magazine hints at a possible imminent Chris Jericho return.
One of the magazine’s articles is examining June 29th’s Money in the Bank PPV, which takes place in Boston, Massachusetts. Among those profiled as people with experience in Money in the Bank matches are Cody Rhodes, Kofi Kingston, Christian and Jericho; Jericho is listed as a ‘current’ WWE Superstar and adds, “Already with a Hall of Fame-worthy career, Jericho could still use a win at this event to make us forget about some lackluster recent returns to the ring. A contract cash-in would be just the thing he needs to net him a seventh World title also.”
Jericho previously said he wasn’t coming back any time soon, but he is also known for working internet fans. WWE officials were known to have made contact with Jericho but there were said to be scheduling problems with his tour with Fozzy.
